This is a simplified explanation of the ASTYM Syestem. It is a form of non-invasive soft tissue therapy designed to stimulate your body's natural healing process. It addresses underlying problems not just the symptoms. Adhesions and fibrosis within soft tissue can result from trauma, surgery, immobilization or repetitive strain.
The ASTYM System stimulates the breakdown of this disfunctional tissue that can occur after injury and allows functional restoration to occur.Because of this breaking down of scar tissue, you may experience soreness or bruising after the treatment.
